PORTALUM is a young company that emerged in the aluminum sector and is dedicated to foundry, extrusion and coating of profiles.
Part of the Spanish group NEVALUZ, which has extensive experience in sectors such as plastics, textiles, aluminum, and its treatments, with over 30 years of operation.
With more than 300 employees and 40,000 m2 of facilities, the group is present in various countries, such as Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Peru, and Brazil.
PORTALUM started its operations in facilities with an area of 2,500 m2, with its main function being the production of aluminum alloy billets for extrusion, with dimensions of 144, 153, 178, and 203 mm (5.5", 6", 7", and 8"), with an annual capacity of 14,000 tons, manufacturing alloys such as EN AW-6060, EN AW-6063, EN AW-6005, and EN AW-6082.
In 2013, the company entered a new phase by acquiring its first press, expanding its product line with a variety of profiles that were not previously available in its portfolio.
In 2018, PORTALUM took an important step in response to an increasingly demanding market by investing in two extrusion presses and a vertical coating plant. This allowed to meet the growing requirements of design and quality, solidifying the position as a reference in the industry.
Currently, the company has over 70 employees, facilities with an area of over 12,000 m2, and a production capacity of 900 tons of extruded profiles per month.
