PORTALUM began its journey in 2007 with the fusin of aluminum alloys to produce billets for the extrusion process with dimensions of 144, 153, 178, and 203 mm (5.5", 6", 7", and 8") in EN AW-6060, EN AW-6063, EN AW-6005, and EN AW-6082 alloys.

PORTALUM is committed to quality, sustainability, and environmental preservation. To ensure the quality of our products, we strictly adhere to the standards and requirements set by industry norms for each alloy. We also promote the recycling of aluminum profiles (and other derivatives) alongside pure aluminum ingots, promoting a circular economy without compromising product quality.

PORTALUM invests in technologies that contribute to energy efficiency and reduce the costs of extracting new aluminum, as well as in material recovery to convert and transform it into a useful material for society. We express our gratitude to our customers as together we can progress towards a more sustainable future.

Extrusion

Extrusion

In 2013, PORTALUM extend on a new phase with aluminum extrusion, utilizing a 1,400-ton press.

With this new step, we started producing profiles for carpentry, furniture, and similar products. These products were successfully marketed in various markets, such as Europe and America, and were well-received.

In 2018, PORTALUM took an important step in response to an increasingly demanding market by investing in two extrusion presses. This allowed us to meet the growing requirements for design and quality, solidifying our position as a reference in the industry.

Coating

Coating

In 2018, following the investment in two extrusion presses, a vertical coating line was acquired. This investment enabled us to reduce delivery times and ensure quality parameters throughout the entire process to the final product, while also offering a new service.
